A friend of mine has a beautiful leather jacket that they received from their father a few days before he passed away, so it is a very sentimental item. Over the years, it has collected smells of cigarette smoke, food smells, sweat, and just other random smells. We were concerned about taking it to the dry cleaners. I had used saddle soap on it, but that only conditions and cleans the leather, as it does a saddle, but it does not take away smells. We didn't know if this product can be used on leather but we had nothing to lose, so we gave it a try with a patch test on the inside of the jacket lapel. It works. It is amazing. The jacket has no smell but of leather. We plan on using it for other obnoxious smells very soon.
