Imbue Naturals Vitamin C serum

Usually vitamin C serums will smell like citrus or fresh or nothing at all but this one smells like hot mustard on application. That's the only way I know how to describe the smell. I always test on my arms first and I'm sad to say that this one is sticky and does not absorb quickly at all. I had to wash it off very soon after letting it dry on my skin due to the smell. Even after the product drying on my skin, it was still tacky feeling. I am very disappointed in how this vitamin c serum performed. I tested it one time and the smell was so off-putting that I couldn't force myself to try it again, I couldn't imagine putting this on my face and having to smell it the whole time it was on my face. I hate leaving bad reviews but I wouldn't want anyone else to have a bad experience like this. This is a nice sized bottle and the pump is well made but that's about the only positive thing I can think to say. This product was received in exchange for review.
