Review:
 Let me preface this by saving that there isn't anything wrong with this item. Just some concerns that I have with it. It works excellent for it's purpose.

I really like how the tenderizer performs but I wish that this came with some kind of safety mechanism to lock the blades when they aren't in use. My kids load the dishwasher so I always worry they will grab something like this the wrong way and they will cut themselves. They aren't allowed to touch this by the way for that reason. I handled this very carefully because I am horrible about grabbing things in the wrong way too so it would not surprise me if I'd had the same issues that my kids would have had.

The blades are very easy to press down also which was another safety worry but does help during use that you don't have to pull a muscle to work it. Don't get me wrong, it works great for it's intended purpose and we have used this on a regular basis since receiving but it's not necessarily family friendly.
